I'm in the service room again. My arm fell apart while I was talking to Funtime Foxy. These old parts... We all need upgrades. I hum a small tune as I piece my limb back together. Nothing special, just a mess of coordinated notes compressed together randomly to make a melody. I stop to hear the song I made up echo inside the room. It makes me feel less alone.

When my arm is fixed, the lights are out everywhere except for the service room. This is normal. The lights usually turn off around this time. But something is different. I hear a song being played down the hall. It's like the melody I hummed earlier, however, it sounds... bitter, evil and scary. I open the door slightly and look down the hall. My eyes reflect against the wall and face as they adjust to the darkness level. I look down the hall.

"H-hello?" I call, hoping there is someone there. The music gets quieter and I get more scared. Something turns and looks at me with beady red eyes. I gasp and run back into the service room, hoping they didn't see me. I lock the door and run into the corner. Suddenly, the lights switch off. I'm all alone in the dark, with only my green eye lights giving me comfort. The fan on my stomach whirrs faster and faster as I hear footsteps walk towards the door. The door knob jiggles for five whole minutes, with someone banging heavily on the door every so often. I feel oily tears well up in my eyes. Eventually, the noise stops and footsteps walk away. It's quiet now. The only thing heard is the fan. Not wanting to go back out there tonight, I lay on the ground and shut off.

People may think we don't have fears, but we do.

Especially when left alone in the dark.
