"I can see into your mind. You are strong, child. It would do me great honor...if you would take this...speak the oath...and join our order."
After discovering the dying Green Lantern Nor'Spec'Sala'Ra of Sector 2108, Azure is inducted into the Green Lantern Corps as Nor'Spec's replacement and must combat the Sinestro Corps and any other corps that threaten her family. Little does she know, the Sinestro Corps have already sunk their greedy little fingers into her family.

Inspired by ~Berty-J-A 's drawings of various Sonic characters as members of various Lantern Corps. I originally intended to request berty to draw some for me, but I noticed the very long list he had and figured I'd just do them myself. Plus, I know myself enough to know that I wouldn't have been able to wait.
Secondly, my good buddy ~Powershade117 wrote a wonderful short story of Azure's induction as well as for the rest of the Mythos family. Shade will be uploading each story to his own deviantart page as I upload the corresponding character picture, and I recommend reading them because they are great!
Sonic Lanterns: Azure the Dragon
“I just...what in Mythos name is going on here?” Azure complained as she walked under a clear evening sky. “First I'm on vacation, and the next...I'm called in because of an emergency...only to find out that some strange aliens with magical powers are attacking us.”
Azure's complaining was interrupted by the sound of her communicator beeping. She touched two fingers to her ears, wondering who is contacting her. The voice that came through was all too familiar. “Azure? Are you in position?”
“Oh, Shadow. I uh, yeah. I'm here. Just waiting for Rouge and to join us. I'm actually...a little surprised you

It originally started as a joke between my friends and I where ~Powershade117 , for fun, wrote out a story in where each of our characters were inducted into a Lantern Corps. After that, I decided to draw each of them. As an artist and lover of crossovers, I simply couldn't resist. Berty has never spoken to me, nor I to him/her and I was not aware of any idea you had regarding this. This idea was formulated by myself and two of my friends based on Berty's Sonic Lantern pieces.

And there she is: Green Lantern Azure. Very impressive work indeed, Zeph. I like her pose, how she's holding the ring up in a way like she's about to use it. I wonder what kind of constructs she could create. Maybe...a lightning rod? XD
Believe it or not, I can make a few interpretations on her face alone. For one, her focus of vision (from my perspective) could be either on her ring or on something in front of her...like a Sinestro Soldier OR Garnett himself.
Also, her facial expression could also be interpreted in a few ways. Her eyes look both determined and entranced. Entranced by her new piece of glowing jewelry and determination to use this power and responsibility for the greater good to those she is sworn to protect.
You never fail to amaze.
