Description
It started with fleeting touches, lingering fingers that would trace your frame ever so subtly. You didn't notice it at first, used to the same touch from many of the other boys. But you soon realized that this was completely unlike the corporal. He wasn't one to betray his feelings. Always curt and brisk, he never stood out as the emotional type, even towards women.
Then came the looks he would give you as you passed him in the hallway, glances that would send dark shivers down your spine to the pit of your stomach. when your eyes met his, you felt your entire body tremor under his dark gaze.
He would find excuses to touch you, to be near you. He always stood a little too close to you, enough so that you could hear his voice in your ear, his breath on your neck.
It was moments like this that had made you nervous and jumpy.
"Oi! Cadet!" He called from down the hallway. You froze, his words sending shivers down your spine.
Sasha and Ymir, who stood a ways in front of you, both gave you sympathetic smiles before dashing off, leaving you to the corporal's mercy.
You turned towards the glowering man slowly, saluting him. "Sir!" You yelped.
Rivaille had his arms crossed, watching you with a narrowed stare.
"Your harnesses are askew."
Oh no.
Before you could stop him, he had stepped forward, and slipped his fingers under the straps of your 3DMG harnesses, tracing them upwards over your chest and to your shoulders. You blushed heavily at the action.
"Sir?!" You squeaked.
"Unacceptable." He muttered, close to your ear. You shivered slightly.
His arms came to circle your waist as he traced the straps down your back. You stiffened as his fingers brushed your sides. You tried to look anywhere except his face, where a smug sliver of a smile made its self known.
When he reached your hips, you stepped backwards, your face brilliant shade of red.
"Er..um...I-!" You stuttered, trying to find words to speak with. You instead found yourself giving the corporal a quick salute and spinning on your heel, only to hear his voice crack through the air like a whip.
"CADET!"
You flinched forward, and peeked hesitantly over your shoulder, where Rivaille glared back at you.
"Physicals are tomorrow. You and the rest of the cadets are to report to the infirmary at seven tomorrow morning."
You managed a nod.
Levi nodded, as if satisfied with your response, before turning on his heel and walking in the opposite direction.
You stood, watching him, his words lingering behind him.
Physicals...?
Oh.
~ ~ ~
"You go first!"
"What, no way!"
"well I'm not doing it!"
You looked back at Sasha, a bit of fear in your eyes. The two of you and the other girls stood outside the door to the infirmary, anxiously awaiting whoever was inside to call the first of you in. However, who was beyond the door was a question that remained unanswered.
You hadn't told the girls about Rivaille, but you had you suspicions it was him who lay on the other side of the door.
So you and Sasha bickered about who was to go first, just to make sure.
The door creaked open as you two argued, and a familiar mop of brown hair peeked out from behind the door.
"Okay, who's first?" Hanji asked.
You pushed Sasha forward as she objected. "Go get em'!" You yelled encouragingly after her.
Sasha gave you a glare before following Hanji inside.
One after another, the girls filed in and out, until only you were left. You waited pateintly until the last girl finally filed out before taking your turn.
You walked into a clean room with a bed, shelves of medicine, and a sink.
Hanji picked up a clipboard and smiled at you. "Okay, please step behind the curtain and remove your jacket and shirt.
You nodded, but as you stepped behidn the curtain, you heard the door open again, and a voice whisper something to Hanji. The scientist glanced behind the curtain and smiled apologetically. "Sorry, but Erwin needs me for a minute. Hang tight until I get back, okay?"
"Okay." You replied, unsurely. You weren't sure of sitting in the infirmary alone. As Hanji left, you glanced down at yourself, and decided to put your shirt back on, just in case.
However, as soon as you thought that, you heard the door open again.
You froze, feeling ice run cold through your veins. You grabbed for your shirt at the same time the curtain was pushed back roughly, revealing a stone faced corporal.
"Sir!" You gasped, trying desperately to cover yourself. You held the shirt up, trying to hide your bra and stomach.
The corporal regarded you blankly, but you swore for a moment you saw his eyes sweep over your form. Finally, his eyes locked with yours. "Hanji stepped out. I couldn't leave you alone in here, what if there was a pervert?" He explained casually.
"I'm looking at one right now." You thought to yourself.
You focused your gaze down on the floor, shivering under his gaze.
"(Name)..."
You looked up, to find the corporal advancing towards you. You backed up as he did so, finally feeling wood press up against your back. Rivaille's arms came to rest on either side of your head. The corporal stared down at you, his dark eyes boring into yours. You looked away, unable to stand his gaze.
"Look at me."
You glanced back at him, and found yourself unable to look away.
Slender fingers came to tilt your chin back into a rough kiss that stole your breath away. You secretly wondered to yourself why you didn't scream, or fight back, but you found yourself unwilling to.
It was when Rivaille began to trace soft kisses down your neck that Hanji burst through the door, and yanked away the curtain. "(Name!) I'm ba-" She stopped dead as she saw the position you and Rivaille were currently in. You saw Rivaille shoot her a death glare, before she quickly pulled back the curtain, turned, and walked out, the door locking behind her.
Rivaille turned back to you, loosening his cravat around his throat.
"Shall we continue?"
