Y'know, I never really thought about how these two were so similar to each other. But I like how you drew the lines between them. I also like how you show Alphys developing as a character, too. Very nice little sequence.

Glad to see that Asgore finally realizes that he's not the rotten bastard he once thought himself to be. I think Issac Clarke said it best in Dead Space 3, good men don't always do well, but they mean well. Asgore did terrible things, but he meant well in the end.

I still don't like Asgore. In the game, or here. I don't trust him here, mainly because I dislike people who just randomly dump their personal problem on someone just to try and fish some sympathy. (That, to me, is what it feels like he's doing here.) However, I *love* what Alphys said, and while I won't excuse what she did, I do think that people who do bad things with the right intentions and not knowing the extent of how terrible their decisions were are redeemable, as long as they repent and work to fix it later.
