In this series' headcanon: Monsters have a humming pitch to their souls that other monsters can hear/sense at a certain distance. Sans's is abnormally 'quiet', meaning that he's harder to sense. This makes it harder to keep track of him (and allows Sans to play all manner of pranks, on top of his teleportation). XD However, it would be considered a result of poor soul health, a byproduct of his extremely low HP.

I guess the 'can't swim' is because of the gaps he has in between his bones so the water just goes through. I find that quite interesting and yet so simple at the same time ^^

so according to my calculations, (in this AU at least) every 12 human years is 1 monster year. so I'm guessing 1 human year = 1 monster month?
So instead of humans having 365 days in a year, monsters have 4380.

A human (or more accurately, a child) skeleton of a person that size would weigh that amount. I have no idea what the weight is made up of though ^^ Bone and marrow I guess? ^^

He's as tall as Frisk (as per px in the game) and Frisk is like an 7-8 year old child, so that actually makes sense. And yeah, bones are only about 15 % of the body weight so (again going by the standard child size) it adds up.

Yup! ^^ I had to calculate how much a human skeleton of that size would weigh, and that's sort of what I came out with. Give or take. He can minipulate gravity though, so I bet he can make himself weigh more if he wanted to. ^^

Hmm, I suppose he could, if he really wanted to! XD Then again, I would think making things weigh less (against the gravity of the earth) would be harder to do than weighing things down as heavier. And we all know how lazy Sans is. ^^ Papyrus, on the other hand has been know to do odd things with his gravity, more versatile and energetic. XD

Yeah, that's always been a thing for me, HOW DO YOU SAY THEIR NAME??? I used to say 'car-ah', but I think 'Care-ah' is probably more accurate. ^^

If going by the Japanese version, it is supposed to be pronounced like the first part of the word character. Also, I think I have seen a screenshot of a twitter by the Dog where he also says that... though I think he later removed it and said you should pronounce it as you like (though he had to decide for pronounciations in JP because the language is phonetic-ish).
