Description This is based on a short story I wrote for my Writer's Craft summative back in January. The basic premise is that rogue nanomachines convert most of the human populace into cyborg zombies, leaving the rest to flee into underground bunkers.

I tried to get this done faster than I usually take, but it was shelfed while i dealt with real life. Most of it actually was drawn over the course of three days.

I tried to create lighting effects, with varying levels of success.

"I swear, there it is again!"

"Are you sure? I didn't hear anything. Go back to watching. Letting your imagination and the stress get to you."

XD

I love this so hard core. The lighting is AMAZING and I never would have been able to pull off all of that cross-hatching. It's absolutely wonderful.

LOL I still cant believe we thought up of the same thing around the same time! But no worries though I hold no "Ownership" of the idea of nano tech zombies so feel free to use it as much as you like. I am also interested in reading your story, you dont mind shareing it? I mean sending it over through a note?

About the drawing, absolutly great shadeing. I like the lights and the domineering presence the creature holds looking over the shoulders. I can imagine that what happens next isnt pretty.
LOL! New rule of horror... Make sure to often look behind your shoulder when in dark places. Or always make sure you have you buddy doing that for you.

Other tips on horror: Never follow creepy voices, they always lead to bad places.
Never yell out "HELLO" when you see a creepy shadow lurking in the distance or behind a corner.
Got any more ideas to add to the list?

When you think you have enough ammo, you usually don't.
If there's one monster, there's many monsters.
Don't investigate anything mysterious/weird/strange under any circumstances. EVER.

If I have a full copy of my story kicking around, I could probably email it to you.

"Dont investigate anything mysterious/weird/strange under any circumstances. Ever." HEY you cant put that on the list! Investigateing things is what makes a story! I am talking about the wierd little tricks that people seem to fall under too often in horror flicks. "When you think you have enough ammo, you usually dont." lol Thats a good one. Here is another few I just thought up of; "Two flashlights are ALWAYS better then one, just in case one runs out when you need it the most." "Never walk towards a hallucination without looking around first, it might be a trap."

"The new guy dies first."
"Yes. You DO need backup."
"Splitting up = death"
