This is one of the most intense and stunning works I've seen on deviantart... ever.
It reminds me of something from the past, but I can't recall what was it.

This was the only path to next village. The monsters always carried goods between villages in the daytime. However, itβs dark this time. The monsters lost their way on the path and came across a girl who just came back from work. So the monsters asked the girl for direction.
