It's great to see you back in action. I feel as if the cross hatching smooth shading goes together. or balance each other. But, I can see the roundness from it. Also are right from looking at the pic. It seems as if the eye is raised up some and bigger. The last thing is the facial features isn't going the same direction as the face.
