Oh my god, been a while, no?Hi guys, long time no see!, it's a couple days after my birthday (March15th-gifts still welcome : ) ) they've been teaching 3D at my uni, well, the teacher didn't know much, so i kinda learn't from a friend, he's good , well,
Done on Maya, pretty much no knowledge on texture, and this is my 2nd spaceship on Maya, so comments i'd totally love, i'm totally new to this but it's a lot of fun.
Oh yes, this will be animated as groupwork, still thinking of what i should be doing, still trying to get a hold of the movement.
Done in Maya, All tips welcome! planning to do pipes but dosn't know how to make them look good
and yes, this is my first none anime work i submitted.
Oh yes, i made a promise on my birthday, that before my next, i'll draw 365 drawings, so, hopefully i can keep up with that.
and yes, i'm a Gundam-Fan XP

sweet picture, i get a warp space sort of feeling from it. its cool to see other people undertaking something as involved as 365. check out ShutterCal.com for a site designed specifically with 365 in mind...it's mostly photographs right now, but drawings are more than welcome!

Sorry i forgot the criteque ^^' I would work on making your materials that are metallic look more metallic, meaning work on getting the lighting to look accurate on the materials, if you want more technical than that i would suggest tinkering with the specularity of the material as well as the hardness of the light. Also did i mention you can import anything to blender from maya and almost anything from blender to maya.

Well i Can seriously help in this area if you would like any tips, im a little familar with maya, but Blender is really my muse(being free and all). The concepts will defiantly transfer over if not all of them. I guess you could consider me a professional since i can do charcters, in a really high level of customization and detail.

Awesome Rendering. I know it may be your first time doing this, but this kind of stuff helps.
I know one artist that uses this stuff for easy landscaping in his comics. So its good that your taking up on Rendering.
