Kaina's POV:

After the door closed Kaina was left in the quiet room for hours, two or three? Difficult to say since there was no other light besides an artificial light at the top that made the occasional buzzing sound. The restraining chair was doing its job properly since she could not find the slightest budge in the restraints that were digging into her skin. Even with what she had just done she wanted to think the vice chairman was just messing with her head and was not going to truly send her to Tartarus. But she had never seen a case where the vice head had lied to her and the cold stare that she saw in her eyes was as if she was passing judgment on her.

Kaina heard the door creaking open. Two burly men were at the entrance and one of them was carrying what seemed to be a restraining jacket, like the one she had seen used on multiple villains before. This made the sense of dread multiply a hundredfold. Still, he kept a sense of calm in her face, she was trained for situations like these. Kaina learned to not reveal anything in her facial expression and just glared at them with a cold stare without betraying an ounce of her apprehension.

This will be the time that would be the most optimal for me to escape, the moment that they release my restraints I could……. One of the men approached and injected her with something in her neck, with this some fo her hope disappeared. Of course, they would numb her up, there was no way that the vice head would run any risks. As she was drifting off she heard one of the men say.

"They ordered us to cut her hair short since it's part of her quirk" ….the next thing she felt was her eyes closing off and even by exerting all of her will she could not keep them open.

The next thing Kaina was aware of before she opened her eyes was that she was moving in some sort of vehicle at a decent speed. Then she tried to move her arms slightly and could not do it since she felt the rough canvas of the straitjacket that she had seen before she lost consciousness. They had bound her tightly with her arms across her chest and all the straps in the back.

"I know you are awake so you can stop pretending you are asleep there is no way that we would take half measurements with someone as high profile as you," someone in front of her said. Kaina opened her eyes and glared at him. Not like she could do much else since they had put a mouth gag that did not allow her to speak and the straitjacket was attached to the back wall which barely allowed her to move an inch. The only thing she could move was her head and eyes.

"We are on our way to Tartarus I hope that you have made your peace with everything else because it's unlikely that you will see the light of the sun again. As per the head commissioner's instructions, everyone in the facility will only know you as a hero turned rotten by killing a fellow hero. They will treat you how they treat every one of their inmates. No matter what you say your fate is sealed Ex-Lady Nagant".

The man across from her said this with a dark tinge in his tone as if he was taking some pleasure in her predicament.

"You know I always envied your ability to be on the field and helping the bigger mission but now" he went ahead and spat at my feet. Kaine just kept glaring at him without betraying an ounce of the anxiety that she was feeling at the moment.

"We will see if you are able to maintain that glare after a few weeks in Tartarus, from what I hear they treat their inmates worse than humans. Who knows what they will do to someone who has fallen so low as to become a villain"

This Kaina had heard before and was still not resigned that she would spend the rest of her life in the worst prison in the country just because she did not want to kill anymore. However, a small part of her felt that she deserved to be punished for all the lives she had taken.

While having these mixed feelings the transport vehicle eventually stopped

Then the guard in front of her said with an evil smirk "Well Ex-Lady Nagant welcome to your new home"

Then he unstrapped me from the vehicle and made Kaina walk through a dark door into what would be her new fate.
