Kaina's POV:

Kaina stared at the bright orange uniform that was in her hands now. She had seen these worn by the worst of society when doing different escort missions SPC or even when coming to interrogate inmates in this same facility that she was being processed on. The bold black letters in the back: INMATE. Depicted the change in her status and what she was right now. How did it even reach this point? Kaina had been repeating this in her head since she walked through the doors of the facility, but still could not come up with an answer.

"Hey, 49563 hurry up we do not have all day for you to be admiring your new clothes, put them on and walk over here," the female guard behind her said.

This shook Kaina from her train of thought. They had also put on a set of black boxer short underwear and a black tank top undershirt. She proceeded to put those that surprisingly enough were a good fit for her. Then she slipped on her new uniform starting with the legs. Since it was a one-piece coverall there wasn't much to do besides slipping the arms in afterward. The jumpsuit had a rough texture to it and suddenly she was grateful for the underwear provided, Kaina was not someone to care about clothes that much, but she usually preferred things that did not affect her mobility. The jumpsuit, contrary to the underwear, was a size too big for some reason and felt like she had been put in an orange sack. After snapping the buttons in place she proceeded to follow the guard that was standing behind her.

"We will proceed to take your intake mugshot and finish registration, Afterwards we will take you to your cell," The guard said as if giving me a report. The guard walked just a few more steps into a side room where there was only a camera a chair and a height measuring chart background.

"Take this and straight looking at the camera, no smiling or any gestures on your face, and stand straight, got it" Who in hell would smile in this situation Kaina thought to herself, but she still did as informed. The guard had provided her with a black plastic board that had her personal information and inmate number. After looking at it briefly, she stood in front of the camera and waited.

"3,2,1…Flash" The bright light blinded her momentarily, but it was just similar to how all those news reporters gathered after she apprehended a villain. It was something that she was used to but the context was completely different. Instead of being praised for her heroism now this picture would probably be lining the newspapers in a couple of days condemning Kaina for whatever crime they would be pinning on her.

"Now turn to your right and leave the blackboard with your data looking forward" She proceeded to take the next picture

"Now the same but turn to the left, this is the last". The last picture was taken of me.

"Ok, Rick, Carl we are done here come and put her restraints on," The female guard said calling for her colleagues who came with some chains that were rattling in the air with every step that they took.
