Oh hey, that's pretty cool! What are you using to sculpt the belly?

curious what kind of sculpting matterial you use; you can't really do custom figures with polymer clay because it requires heat to cure...

Fuck off, yours is so much better than mine. I'm still trying to sand my Spider-Woman's belly! UGHHHHH lol.Β
Wait did you use to make her belly? I used Apoxie Sculpt.Β

Sorry man! π
well in all fairness you do yours from scratch, I just put a 2 part apoxy belly on a pre existing figure π & what helped me a lot to make her belly skin smooth is using a paint brush with rubbing alcohol on it! & trust me it hasn't been all fun I got apoxie in her hip joint & had to carve it out with an exato blade!

No, I mean, I am working on my Marvel Legends figure, that exact figure, trying to add a belly to her.Β

Oh, it's mostly dry. I don't know if it will work but the issue was I made it, fucked it up, added to it, and it hasn't rounded out perfectly in the shame I want. I will paint it to match her costume. I fucked up her love handles. I may just take it off and REDO it a third time. Might just buy another Spider-Woman to have two.

I figured it out, got it on good, it's dried. When I get over to my friend's house I will paint her. But how can I get the smudges off, like my own finger prints from the residue is on her legs and her back, like, can I just use some rubbing alcohol to gently remove that without harming the paint?Β

I already sanded it and used acetone to remove the marks and the paint in areas that I need to work on. I wanted to redo the spider on her chest anyways, the yellow on it isn't yellow enough. I made her belly low enough so her spine would still move, melted a little bit of the plastic but that's no biggie, just gonna paint over it. She isn't gonna look perfect or uniform but she'll look good. I'll post her if I ever finish her.Β

I want mine to be able to move so I can still pose her. I need to order a second one though so I have a non-pregnant one. I just feel like I defaced my property but I know once she's painted, she's gonna look fucking AMAZING.Β

Excellent detail around her navel! Your collection of figurines is impressive, but this takes the best of both your collection and your art to new levels! Can't wait to see what details you add. Were you thinking of keeping it bare or adding your usual flavor of stretchmarks and veins?
