Totally experimental composite using 4 shots pasted together. I'm standing in northern California looking down into Nevada, around the Lake Tahoe region. No tripod and a crappy scanner.Related content

I'm so pleased you didn't crop it to make it look like one panoramic shot, that would have made the slight color variations, where the photos overlap really stand out. This way is much better, especially with a black background...for some very odd reason it reminds me of the National Parks pamphlet/bulletin you get when you buy a parks pass

good 'ol washoe valley. so was this taken on the slide side of mt. rose? i grew up in reno and that was the mountain i used to ski race for. i don't know how many times i've sat on the mountain with this view. nice work

beautiful. yet massive. I love the placement. most people would have cropped the edges evenly and made adjustments to make all the pictures look like one big one... but i like your style more

Nice panorama...quite the scene.
Got around the scanner problem,myself. I have my pix put on CD when developed. Saves lots of time. Bought a film/slide scanner for my old pix. Doesn't work too badly.
