Very nice job with the drawing and the background (it does strongly resemble official artwork 
My brother is a Sonic fan too, and he has his own fan-made character named Black Fox (He is also in the phase where he would like to build a fursuit modeled after it, but we will see if he decides to follow through with it.). Anyway, keep up the good work with your art.
