Yes, they're my favorite breed of dog! Hopefully you do get one, theyre great. The only thing you'd really have to worry about is the chewing. I went through quite a few chargers. Are you planning to get a registered one or not? Ace isn't registered but he is great

Ah I'm excited! I'm not planning on getting him (hopefully it's a him, I kinda want a male dog over a female right now XD) registered, I'm just planning on him being my own dog. in the past my family has had multiple dogs and our past two have been puppies we've raised to become Guide Dogs for the Blind. Roja, our latest Guide Dog and I really got attached to one another, and it's been a year or so since then and it's really made me realize just how much I want my own dog. I might try and teach it basics of search and rescue though! There's a few teams locally I've been meaning to get in touch in, and I recently purchased a book that goes over basic training methods as well as doing some search rescue work in CAP, so we can hope!
Oh it's the worst when they go chew up chargers, isn't it?
I've never had a shepherd before, though! I've been exposed to them, and some working German Shepherds as well, though, and I've fallen in love.
