Wanted to do a bit of fan artAs we can see here, I sculpted a new sculpture. This time of a character from one of my favorite shows I watched, Oban Star Racers. The character is Ondai. I really enjoyed this character cause he was a robot that believed Robots are the pinnacle of evolution and superior to organics in every way. But deep down, he wishes to be able to feel things, and if he had won the supposed "Oban wish", he would've wished to become flesh and blood, or some way so that he could be able to feel things like all his test subjects/specimens he keeps in his lab/gallery on his ship.
Ondai belongs to: Savin Yeatman-Eiffel of Sav! The World Productions, and various programs that featured Oban at the time.

Regarding your last comment, and without wanting to sound too preachy, you should be able to enjoy Oban Star Racers in Bluray soon, and the difference of quality is staggering.

Yep, Ondai was one of my favorite characters during that show. A shame they didn't show him again after the race/selection ended, so it was assumed he died in his fight with Prince Aikka, or his Starship was destroyed another way while all that Next Avatar chaos was happening. I have season 1 and 2 on DVD, I'd watch it again in a heartbeat if I was watching it with someone. Heck, I'd watch it again just to watch it again if I felt like it, but I sorta have other shows I want to start watching that I haven't checked out yet.
