This was referenced from a pic I found a while ago, don't remember if I found it via Mr. Google or lurking on fb pages. I attempted here a little of perspective, foreshortening and making it a little more realistic. I am pretty satisfied with the result and this was an important practice towards my personal goal. I feel like I am moving towards a style I like even more

So once more here is I would dare say, my most popular character, Lorrette Farrand. This attempt was like if she were a real person and stuff, hence the lack of anime styled eyes and mouth xD.
Maids like to do these stuff so their masters can feel at home, remember that Lorrette is a schoolgirl and part time maid at a cafe. Her dad is a Soldier and her mother is a lab worker.

The eyes and lips are pretty good. The foreshortening is decent, but there are areas of concern around where the stomach is. In this position, it makes her stomach area look squashed and its hard to tell where her shoulders end and torso begins. Bringing up the legs or making them larger might have helped the overall balance. I think her head might be a bit too large, even with foreshortening. The details in the hands are pretty decent.
Its a good attempt at foreshortening. If you plan on doing more of this, continue to use references until you're comfortable.

I got kinda confused with the legs, I originally had them bigger and then I made them smaller, but I got what you mean since they are coming towards the drawing.

Thanks! Yeah I want to try different things and learn, actually like power learn (like power lvl in rpgs xD) So I am giving some extra effort and from time to time challenging myself. Knowing that I am getting better at realistic proportions shows me that I am starting to get ready for my personal project

Thank you for your kind comment man! Perspective is awesome and challenging xD I still need to work a lot harder on perspective, so many things that you can do other than characters (like buildings or even making a building and put your OC's there). So yeah, there are limitless possibilities xD

yeah references are a big help. I am not afraid of using them, and I usually tweak them off to make my OC's xD
