Something bit different this time, I started, and finished it today. I gave my 100% so now you all can see what it actually is.

Sign smoke rises from top of the near by mountain. AJ takes one more look at it, tightens her belt and takes a deep breath. Griffons had

been more active lately, robbing convoys and burning villages. Alerts become more and more regular as summer was starting to push in.

AJ made sure that she has her gear properly bundled, and then headed to the tree line, opposite direction from mountain. She'll have few miles in front of her, before rallying point.
There should be waiting a group of civil guard, newly formed unit for local defending against this new threat. Guard had been hastily piled from civilians that have any kind of military training.

But as AJ made her through the field, in her mind she damned all those flying marauders to deepest hell. But still, strongest emotion living in her mind right now as she reaches spruces in the edge
of the forest, is fear. She can't stand the thought that Griffons might be taking their way to her helpless village when she's elsewhere, far from her little sister, big brother and granny.
AJ shakes her head, with mixed feelings. "Ah' hope it's all only false alarm, like it usually is. As soon Ah'm done there, Ah' can head back to home."

And thus AJ heads forward.
