The enticing alien beauty known only as Darth Layn is a tempting siren of the dark side, even to many of her counterparts. Discovered by Darth Sarrow on the moon of Nar Shaddaa, the Force-sensitive Mirialan had taken control of half the underwold crime through the simple application of the dark side of the Force mixed with her ability to seduce and control the weak, or even strong minded. Duplicitous, sensual and utterly assured of her charms, Layn was only too happy to be brought into the Twilight Sith Order, where she began to train a devoted group of followers in her unique ways of recruiting and commanding more to the cause.

Unlike most of the other Twilight Sith, Darth Layn fights only when provoked, preferring to manipulate and confuse her opponents with words and her obvious physical charms. When she is forced to fight she utilizes a cortosis-alloy whip in addition to her single, green bladed lightsaber.

Darth Layn is essentially an homage to every single "evil is sexy" temptress to ever try using thier charms to bring the hero to his knees. Originally we were going to use a Zeltron or a Faleen, two species well known for their...ahem, emphasis on certain sensual actvities. But we finally went for a more human look. Initially she was supposed to have a lot of tattoes, and her expression was a lot more villainous, but ZERO's idea was that she would present a more clean, seductive image then is typically seen. In the end I think it worked out for the best.
