she is cute but I don't recall her ever in DoA. With all their franchises- Dynasty Warriors, Warriors Orochi, Ninja Gaiden, Toukiden... it's very possible she's a Tecmo girl but not Dead or Alive.

we have Tengu in there, Bankotsurobu who was the end boss forDoA2 (killed by Ryu Hiyabusa the sequels say heh) though his backstory in DoA2 said he'd been exiled for breaking Tengu laws. Most loved is Nyotengu, the stunning seductive Tengu of DoA5 to present. It's very likely Kanna in Venus Vacation is to try out fan reaction and see if she's popular enough to put into the main series, so far she seems to be doing well though most negative has been the voice actress.
Seems the view is, Kanna is cute but her voice is driving people nuts xD

xD oh that's so true. I got DoA5: Last Round as it had all the best of Ultimate and standard DoA5 in one box. Problem was though, costumes like the 2013 Halloween costumes could not be purchased as I hadn't bought them for Ultimate which I didn't even own (not having a PS3 or Xbox One at that time

Yes, part of it is true, I liked the variety of costumes, but some of them seemed ridiculous, personally I would not buy them, but as I said, in the end, the final edition includes them all.

We just got Round 1 of the Pirate costumes and the characters are planned to come next. One is definitely Mai Shiranui, likely getting her first. To be fair Mai is fun to play in DoA5 looking really forwards to her back. None of the Virtua Fighters are in it.... not yet at least and I kinda hope they stay out so other Tecmo characters can come in like Aluche from Nights of Azure 2 say or Daiochan of Dynasty Warriors 😋

those with powers like Ayane or Honoka, don't use them in combat to make things more balanced for all. Mai can throw firey fans but her hand and foot combos work sooo nicely you don't need them heh. I think Mai was picked for more than being popular. A lot said a long-time dream match was Mai taking on Kasumi so SNK and Koei Tecmo talked it out, agreed and gave us that dream match xD

We just had Phase-4 so it's looking like she and Mai are first to be added although I see Phase as returning rather than new myself. Marie Rose is beyond adorable in DoA6's Story where she tries to help Honoka; it's so funny and cute heh

I agree, Marie is much more tender in this game, in DoA5 she had a more similar attitude to Lili from Tekken. although I do not care, in the two games is a nice character.
Apparently, the history of Kula, will be related to Nico, the loli evil in DoA.

Nico I can't figure out, she's a strange one. Though learning Honoka is Ayane's sister was one I did not see coming, making her cousin to Kasumi and Hayate; though she hates her dad too xD as Honoka teams up with her sister and cousins to bring down her twisted resurrected father, closing DoA6. Isn't Kula an SNK character? Blue-hair in a purple suit, Kula Choi? Kanna being linked to Nico as in-house would be funner xD.

yeah its truth, but Kula is new dlc, guest of KOF, I guess the story is transient, nothing important. I agree with you, DOA should take advantage by their own characters, but the crossover it is the current option, for fashion and for money, easy money. Any way, I do not lose hope of seeing Angel from KOF in DoA 6.

i've been so laser-focused on Gundam Breaker 3, completely forgot DoA6 to check 😋I mean Mai is meant to be out or due too heh. Crossovers don't generally get a huge variety of costumes compared to native Tecmo characters but we shall see 😊

so far Mai and Kula have one story mission but they do have DOA Quest tasks too to unlock customisation options like hairstyles, glasses etc. though Kula cracks me up. Her character is very airheaded, she loves candy and her Pulse finish has her encase her opponent in ice then making a cute face with her tongue poking out- just sends me into gigglefits. Mai, on the other hand; is much faster since DoA5 and she hits a lot harder.

Well, Kula is a classic loli japanese girl, very cute, Mai is more sexy in comparasion, the most remarkable thing is the way to play with them, even in KOF Mai is more for combos, while Kula is much more special and super moves. For this reason I said that Angel would be better added to the DoA, until Blue Mary or Vannesa seem better than Kula. However, I will not deny that when I have the game, I will enjoy the guest characters a lot. Another thing, I would like to see a male character to give variety, just imagine a figth whit Hayabusa vs Yagami :d

I liked Iori a lot, he was unique and brought something special. I also liked Kim but with Rig they may have trouble keeping them separate... perhaps Master Todo would be neat as his pure aikido is not in DoA and it would be interesting to mix it up with Kokoro's baji-quan say.
DoA-wise DoA5 Mai is slower than DoA6; you really get a feel for how fast the kunoichi really is and she doesn't need to use her Shiranui-jutsu as much. Though some of her combo chains are nasty with how they blend in her speed and her jutsu together. Not as confusing or showy as Ayane, faster than Momiji and with Kasumi's agility 😊 and Kula's just cute. I find her main moves for DoA are slow but like Hitomi, hit hard when you time it just right. Trouble is she's so funny sometimes she keeps me laughing... even during a Survival match 😆

Hahaha, well is the problem of the kawai girls, they are tender and they make their charms in the middle of a survival, it does not help you for the concentration. Not yet DoA6, I did not know that Mai was fast, I like that, it reminds me of a version that came out for SF vs KOF, it was a special version of Mai, very fast, full of combos and specials, it was unlocked if you passed the full game. I did not see that version again until a Mugen, the difference is that someone edited it so that it was naked, well it's not weird, both in mugen and in the game of DoA they have done it. I think there is already a mod for the girls of the DoA6 to undress them, they are fast those moders.
Any way i hope DoA6 add another dlc of KOF, this time a guy, Geese Howard is in Tekken, DoA should try with someone else,... Yamazaki in DoA it would look great.

I have all of Mai's MUGEN versions hehehe. In honesty one of the hentai ones is very nice, nasty to face. She starts out as regular KOF97 Mai, the same version appearing in CvS2 I think... all Mai's usual moves everything. But, when she uses certain EX setups the Grooves that were coded to her like in CvS; she throws off her dress. Soon as she does that becoming nude bar her long sash, Mai now gains a lot of Kyo's supers like his fire geyser, increased speed and her combos become nastier longer chains of death. Unlike the usual idea where the hentai versions have almost no moves (Nude Morrigan) or severely-powered down (like Kula Diamond, Felicia and Green Orchid of Killer instinct), Mai and I have a really evil Hsienko who breaks the game as she causes an Infinite Loop error I tried asking the maker: Phantom of the Server how to resolve and never had a response; but they are very much exclusive all the other hentai girls seem very weak though Ryoga Morrigan.... don't underestimate her. She might seem a sillier Morrigan but she deals crazy damage in seconds with even her normal moves and she also regenerates whilst she damages her opponent with two of her four EXs....

And yes, hentai characters are somewhat weak and sometimes even funny. It is rare to meet Hentai characters that are good to play and more with advanced characters.

requires signing up though it's free *laughs* Ryona Morrigan she's called having checked my own Mugen character file folder *laughs*. I don't think Phantom's updated her ever so your version should be fine though this one is the Hentai variant. Pre-warning; she is brutal, deals a lot of damage and her moves are not just graphic heheh but heal her when she hits you so you know the girl is really tough. My Mai is called.... let me check.... unhelpful *laughs* XMai. There's three versions of her which makes narrowing down my exact one much harder. The main differences are in how they start the fight. One is KOF97 or earlier version, she starts nude but only has Mai moves. Second starts nude but has CVS2 moves, Third version starts clothed and is the monster combo slayer. I named the third one after my fox Luciana to make it easier to find her when playing. If you have the correct one she's by a 3st-hong@163.com.
If you want a quicker way to get the right ones, you'll need Tantrumbull's Sex Mugen version as they already put it all in place. Simply copying the correct folders from Tantrum's into your main will give you Luciana say, instantly without all the digging around stuff *laughs*.
If it still gets annoying I'll zip Luciana up instead and pass her over to you
