Description
I have grown quite fond of the recent crop of UK jazz players; vibrant, imaginative, and accessible without being cheesy. One of the standouts is Shabaka Hutchings, who plays or has played with a number of great acts, but most recently has gotten attention for the band Sons of Kemet.This illustration is done in parallel pen, water brush pen, acrylic ink and a skotch of digital tweaking.

Believe it or not, I've had notes and portions of a coffee-table art book idea for the better part of 15 years. Given the volume of material I have, including unpubbed sketchbooks, it probably makes sense to package something up.
