Description mixed media on bristol + digital

Named after a safe harbor for caravans going across the Mongolian steppe and throughout the central asian and middle eastern area.

This is one of those really odd tings that sat on my HDD for years in various states because it never quite worked, and I an still not sure if it does, but am willing to stop pummelling it. The glob like shapes are one of the few interesting uses of Bryce (the other being the tool that randomizes placement of grouped objects across a designated axis or set thereof.

The rest is a mess of fractal generation and painted texture stitching.

Wow, the blobs almost feel like droplets... And as always, the colours are incredible. I love the bursts of YELLOW, of all colours! Truly, I have still not come across a colourist like you.

I love your combination of digital and traditional art. Digital art has such potential and possibilities, yet there's that "touch of the hand" and organic sort of feel that I am yet to see digital replicate. You bring the two worlds together so well.

Blahblahblah. This is yet another piece to add to my growing wishlist of your artworks!

More specks of random debris than yo granmama's x-mas fruitcake...it's what paint was made for.

Bryce sounds like a cool program...and the "globs," as you so elegantly put it, remind me of stepping stones. I see it as kind of being the stones of a river, that take a person somewhere. And the fact that the "stones" are so varied, they say that life's journey's are as mysterious and changing and "colored" as the stones....does that make any sense?

Bryce is actually pretty limited, but like most tools I have used, has at leats one or two specific functions which I leverage.

Thanks. Where can I get it? I am still learning, so I could use a few tips and maybe some beginning software...if you wouldn't mind...

I bought my ridiculously old copy quite some time ago, but there are free packages out there as well: Blender being the most notable.
