Description this is a fairly evoled snapshot from what I started with (one recent base paint layer). it's title is derived from a track on Mick Karn's last (rather somber) solo album "Each Eye a Path"

I like the sharp shapes. But your choise of colors dont appeal to me this time. Feels too random and quickly made. It lacks that special feeling alot of your work have.

thank you very much. i actually am - believe it or not - completely uncomfortable working in color. i do it out of a bit of necessity and a bit of wanting to somehow try to use a skewed self-generated color-theory to add heft to my normally greyscale or monochromatic illustrations.

I am amazed people actually like this stuff.

I am a grayscale freak myself. Going to an art university, I had it beat out of me. Now I don't feel like something is finished unless it's in color. Which I know is a horrid lie but I am still in the process of deprogramming myself.

I see bits of cubism . . . but maybe it's just me. I like the shapes in this--they provide even more texture.

This is awesome. Your use of color always impresses me.
A lot of your texture and expression has been inspiring me lately. Very nifty.

I love the contrasting of clearly cut crisp lines that drastically distinguish the sections color with the more sporadic blending of modulated color. It gives it a sense of dissonance. The color choice is interesting. Digital reproductions doesn't give justice to texture, especially with the odd glossiness that acrylic sometime has with different colors.

I love it. I love the depth it has to it and the geometry fighting with the random brush strokes

I really like the solid iconic image in the middle - like a plinth, a stone, or something else of equivalence. It's surpressed beneath so much dark colour, and it is clearly a negative shape, but works so well as an object. Subjectively, of course.

Beautiful abstraction + symbolism. Your color schemes which usually warm, are awesome.
