I don't see what's to hate about this guy.
The transition from Watuber to Chambrawl is very smooth, and Floatuber seems to be just right. First stage evos aren't supposed to be too grand anyways.
Inflatables seem to be a trend for most Water Fakemon Starters, aren't they

I agree with pokequaza. The white belly pattern was fine. I wonder why you removed it? It links great with the evolutionary line. Now you made it look like it randomly gets a white belly pattern when it evolves into Chambrawl :/

I prefered the one with the belly spot though.. and with the belly spot it blended more in with te evolution, as the final stage has also a belly pattern.

It's a little late for critique perhaps, but I feel that some of the details you've added are a little less considered and unless they tie into the evo, I might suggest rethinking. THe suimsuit pattern can be doable, but I think I'd suggest either keeping the suimsuit or the diamond because there's something about the way the two shapes interact that just seems off to me. I think just having what is black be that light blue and keeping the diamond shape as a detail would actually do a good enough job at referencing a unisex swimsuit without being quite so obvious. Not to mention that is the only area on the body that uses black, which to me is rather distracting.

There were other options for the belly area. There was a diamond, a round one, and a 'cloud' like one and also, just plain.
I went with the diamond instead because it tied in with its final. But 2 days ago, I changed the design on the final so this will have some slight modifications.
