After eight long days I am finished sketching. All that's left is two weeks to a month worth of coloring. I have decided on color pencil but I may accent it with pen.What's different than the video: I commend Blizzard in updating their character and face models but they still look a bit square to me. The original lore to Khadgar was that he was a frail old man. The standard male human model does not describe that accurately so I've made him look a little less muscular. Also I changed both hand positions to make it look more natural. There is obvious light reflection from the spellcast in the video (seen here only as light circular traces of pencil) and I am going to attempt to make that look as accurate as possible. Instead of going for the 'ray' spellcast effect I'm going to attempt 'tendrils'.
