I was just saying. I knew it was Madara, but he got pumped full of everyone's chakra from the Infinite Tsukuyomi that triggered the transformation from Madara to Kaguya. My personal opinion is that it was both Madara and Kaguya with the latter being in control due to Zetsu. Now for my comment, I put in fanon because she may be from another universe or you may be right and that Kaguya is still imprisoned in the moon. The moon part...I'll look that part up in the manga and animeΒ again. Thanks for the reply though.

There was even a castle in the other dimension, a lot of info about her was left outside. She could have had more development to give her a propper place as the main enemy but her presentation felt rushed as most of the final stage of the manga.

I agree. Without much info and development, the creators of the Naruto anime/manga made her look look like an anime-only character, but more powerful than the typical anime-only villains. We could have known more about her and her clan, but all of that unknown info was just thrown out the window thanks to the creators.

After so many years of work in the manga i can imagine the creator just wanting to finish it, or maybe keeping it for a future saga in the new manga of Boruto (it looks like a new full manga is coming)

It wasn't the creator, it was his editor pushing for him to wrap the story up. That's why the Kaguya fight was short-changed like that so that he had time to do one last Naruto V Sasuke bit.
