Jaonos, the elf paladin of Selune in our DnD campaign, died last week in our game (his player is moving in another town).

We were dying against a horde of demons, and Jaonos’ shield transformed into a divine artifact. He was able to use it in exchange of his life to destroy all the demons.

So long, Jaonos. You were only the modest son of innkeepers seeking enlightenment... but you found a true answer to your faith at the end.
