Just a fanart of Pikachu to practice on my coloring techniques.
It was really fun drawing one of my favorite PokΓ©mons from the original batch.
Done in PaintTool SAI.

Short fact:
The name Pikachu is derived from a combination of two Japanese sounds: pika, a sound an electric spark makes, and chu, a sound a mouse makes.

I really like the coloring and the pose. The shading is right, but some lighting of the fur on the arms and foot is a bit strange. But still, I really like it
