A Commission I did for featuring her caracter Rosetta the....ummm...er...well...i dont really know what Rosetta is....

Amazing work here. I really love the anatomy and the comic style shading/coloring. The pose looks great, and so does the outfit.
Did you use only pencils for this, or did you use pens as well? If you don't mind my asking.

thanks hppy you like it, i used pencil firsrt then i went over in with in pen. i took abit alittle getting use to though cause i normally dont shade in pen.

It does take some getting used to. When I first started using pens I was nervous cause I couldn't erase if I messed up, but the more you do it the better you get and the less likely you are of making a mistake, so the best thing to do is just keep at it, I think <3

Ah yes xD That fear probably won't ever go away, you just have to be very careful. Sometimes having pens with different tip sizes help reduce the chances of messing up. I like to use medium and fine tip sharpie pens. They're cheap, but effective.

yeah i know what cha mean, i use copic multiliners, they're alright but they seem to have a bad habbit of runing out of in really fast....at least the ones i have. i might start doing digital work one day if i can ever get the hang of it. it seems to have less risks than traditional art, plus the pictures just come out looking amazing. your work is proof of this. ^^

Awwwe, that's sweet, but my work isn't really that special. =3 Just the product of a looot of practice LOL I prefer traditional art, even if it's risky. Digital art is nice once in a while, but I like the feeling of a pen or pencil in my hand.

but if any thing i would probably just use programs to mainly color or pehaps ink at times. just so the views cant see all the flaws and white marks. but i really like how your work turns out, it's so lush and vibrant. ^o^

That's really nice of you =3 I actually haven't done anything fully digital in a while xD Most of my stuff lately has been sketches and inked line art. Since my tablet died, it's hard to draw with a laptop touchpad D= But I'm hoping to replace my tablet soon with the help of commissions and whatnot.
I've been practicing a lot so I can't wait to apply what I've learned to my digital art when I get the chance
