Zeydaan Jem - The Fey Wolf-Dragon
(Also known as Isabella, Zey, Wolfy)

Born of Darius Jem (Werewolf) and Cynthia Jem (Fey Dragon)
Zeydaan / Isabella Jem is the Hawkmoth's Ace in the Hole- due to their fae heritage, they have a disconnect from the universe allowing them to have great influence on both their multiversal position and form. They wish to feel free and able to shapeshift at their leisure while helping anyone they can using those powers.

Zeydaan, in their wolf form, resembles an anthropomorphic grey wolf- with alabaster, french gray and charcoal fur- with long Gunmetal navy hair and cordovan highlights. They have two small golden dragon horns that barely break through their hair. They have red eyes and prominent eyelashes.

Works part time at the Hawkmoths Adventuring team lead by Zachary Formine, doing freelance commissions and part timing at the Maiden Menagerie Cafe.
Hobbies include Cosplaying (if far more realistically than usual), Digital art, Cooking, Gaming and Exploration/Hiking.

Non-Binary and Asexual
Chipper and friendly, if somewhat competitive. Prone to biting off more than they can chew in both tasks and journeys.

Biography

Childhood and Early Life
Zeydaan was born to Darius and Cynthia Jem and assigned male at birth. Due to the formers lycanthropy and the latter's Fae Dragon abilities, Zeydaan was left locked in a form similar to their father's anthropomorphic wolf form. In order to prevent Zeydaan from becoming entangled with his large conspiracies and criminal empire, Darius had Zeydaan sent to be raised by his Maid, Isabella Nia-Townsend.

Zeydaan would be brought up under strict discipline and to act like 'a gentleman' much to their discomfort. Such discomfort as well as the high amounts of natural magic in their body caused surges in their mother's dimensional abilities from a very young age.

Zeydaan would often be visited by Dr. Ashley

At high points of stress, Zeydaan would often find themselves in whole other universes, or their body changing beyond their control. Darius would secretly hire the Avatars of Light in order to rescue Zeydaan from being stranded in other universes, a habit that would continue until the AoL's frustrations with the child caused Zeydaan to be perscribed anti-magic medications which they would take until their mid-teens.

Zeydaan was enrolled into a public school where they befriended Zach Formine, Victor Paragon and a young Asriel Reinsford. Their still fluctuating body, limited other magical potential, status as a non-human and budding struggles with enforced gender identity lead them to be on the recieving end of ridicule from their peers, including Victor eventually when he had become chosen by his sacred blade.

Zeydaan struggled in school apart from art- and would actually leave school at the age of 14 when the stresses became too much for them to manage. Isabella would chastise them for doing so, leading them to run from home and join in their sister, Krishnaa Malaka's witches coven. The group did not mind looking after the young wolf despite them not being 'a witch' (despite 'Grannie' saying otherwise).

Awakening Isabella
Following the death of Ms Townsend and the coven going off to other countries, Zeydaan was left alone and mostly homeless, only finding a bed in some of the random universes

Zeydaan was recommended to expand their social connections within this universe when they found themselves seeking friendships often outside of schism earth, giving themselves a penpal in the form of Grey Ryder, a close friendship with the gormotti Nia from another universe, and reconnecting with both Zach and Asriel.

Zeydaan went off their medication soon after this, and without a main house to call a home amongst the coven, Zeydaan moved in with Zach in a converted train carriage (sleeping on his couch). Despite their resurged glitching form/interdimensional position, they felt they still lacked any substantial magic to be of use to anyone, falling into somewhat of a depression.

Zach bought them a small therapy moth (simply a moth with 'therapy' written on the box) to help them out, as well as offered to join in a budding adventuring league after he had dropped out of his own paying job.

Zeydaan went to the Maiden Menagerie dragon-maid cafe one day, and after an incident where a staff member caught them eying one of the spare dresses- Zeydaan found themselves uncontrollably transforming into a dragon themselves. Initially thinking it was an effect of the cafe or another glitch until realising they could not seem to change back.

The workers of the cafe helping them come to terms with their new form- the newly named Isabella (named after the woman that raised them) came to terms with their long-held struggles with gender and purpose.

They fully embraced their new dragon form as a part of themselves and took to their non-binary identity. Though this would still not stop their body continuing to glitch (now also having to deal with sporadic transformations between their two new forms. With a new drive and outlook, they spent some time with the Witches coven and in other universes learning to control their abilities properly.

Training Magic and the Early Hawkmoths
At the age of 16, Zeydaan and Isabella had become so in balance that they would transition between their two forms at the blink of an eye- and their wolven form had taken more of an androgenous and draconic appearance. They had learnt to control their shapeshifting a lot more too, vastly reducing the glitching of their body. A mastery of which granting them the title of an honorary witch by Makala's coven.

Feeling confident they could now be of greater use to Zach, they joined his Hawkmoths team, only to be met with another year or two of intensive training, instead focusing on adventuring combat and skills they were banned from learning at school. They learnt piloting and use of weaponry before they started going out on adventures with the Hawkmoths team on their 18th Birthday.

Zeydaan/Isabella would prove invaluable support to the team, both from their new skills allowing them to act as their pilot and vanguard, but as their shapeshifting would become more versatile and powerful, the range of forms would help in infiltration, diplomacy and combat.

The teams popularity as a result of their successes would prove a double edged sword as often they would come to blows with other adventure organisations, including the current generation of the Avatars of Light, lead by Victor Paragon.

After recovering Alvis from a ruins and a public fight with the Avatars, the Hawkmoths were exposed as having entirely non-human members and would be removed from their adventuring organisation.

Zeydaan/Isabella had Grey come town to publicly lead the team as a favour, only to discover Grey used to be a version of themselves- learning not only of a potential advancement of their powers, but the first mention of the creature 'Rapture'.

The Independent Hawkmoths
Zeydaan/Isabella moved to the cliffside barracks to help Zach maintain the team despite now being independent. Taking on a temporary job at the Maiden Menagerie to help afford the upkeep- Zeydaan/Isabella had a revelation about their abilities when a newly awakened Alvis informed them about the high dimensional energies they appeared to be manipulating while shapeshifting.

Such a revelation would be confirmed when they would finally encounter their mother. Who would help them finally master the last major aspect of their powers, in willingly travelling to other universes and opening up gateways. Of course using their powers in such a way exposing them to the effects of corruption on their body.

This new power would allow the Hawkmoths to fully operate as an interdimensional team again, and would give Zeydaan/Isabella the unique circumstances to come into ownership of crossroads cottage due to their abilities to absorb dimensional energy.

A fight alongside the Avatars of Light against the renegade Caesar caused them to forcefully transform another person for the first time, as well as expose them to the dangers corruption can cause if they overuse it. After a brief stint in a hospital, comatose- They began work in other universes again.

A first encounter with Rapture briefly shook the team's trust in Zeydaan/Isabella regarding how much control they have with their powers- and the potential dangers corruption could cause in turning them into a creature like Rapture.

Despite the risks, they began to experiment with transferring energy to transform others willingly- creating a means of helping others through transformative issues both on schism earth and beyond.
