The skull is a bit obvious as a symbol of time passing, but it looks suitably forgotten. Midjourney's bookshelves are a bit odd, but withal I like the composition. It might be the library in M R James' creepy story The Tractate Middoth, frequented by a dead scholar protecting his favourite niece's inheritance:
