Description Finest Hour - Card Number 82: Torn from the Skies

With all of the others patched up and ready to go, Applejack pressed on with the same issue as she had before.

“Now, as I said before I was rudely interrupted by those things: We have to find Rainbow and Fluttershy!”

The others, ready and eager to find their lost friends, could do nothing but agree. There was just the little matter of what to do.

“So… What do we do, then? I suppose you have a plan then, since you didn’t like my last one.”

“You more or less threw me into a herd of skeletons, what is there to like about that? And no, I don’t have a plan right now. We don’t have anyone who can fly, and they can be miles away now. I am not sure there is much to plan for, we just have to find a safe place, and hope for the best.”

“Hope for the best? That’s the best you can do? And yet you criticize my plans? The nerve!”

An excited Pinkie Pie interrupted the two’s discussion.

“No… No, no, no. They will be here any second!”

They all looked at Pinkie Pie with a mix of amazement and pure confusion.

“What?”

“Ears twitching… left hind leg tingling… tail waggling…”

Before they could ask her what she meant, something crashed into the swamp close by, seemingly with great force.

“Ahh, that would be them. Come on, friends, follow me!”

While the others followed her immediately, a dumbstruck Starswirl stood behind.

“How… she did… what… HOW?”

Noticing one missing in the group, Applejack ran back to pick him up.

“Just try to ignore it. It’s easier that way.”

While still confused, he joined the others together with Applejack to see who, or even what, had just landed close by. Just before he reached the crash site, another troubling thing happened, as he saw a bright flash in the distance. While interesting indeed, he deemed that whatever had crashed nearby was more important and paid little attention to the scream that followed:

“HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”

It is strong, but it is also a double-edged sword, hitting your own creatures...
"I don't know why people say a double-edged sword is bad. It's a sword. With two edges."
