>Sniff.< No one wants to be the 3-foot high, swamp-dwelling garden dragon. Sniff. OK, now I smell why.
Narration:
Our first story, appropriately enough, centers on an amiable but reluctant young man named Caradec. He is gifted with a so-called "green thumb" and maintains the earl's vast garden to the delight of the public; but it's not his only gift, and his friends have noticed that he has begun to change.
Caradec researches the signs, but when he sees the creature he is fated to be become, he is not enthused.
He does everything in his power to suppress the voice of the Dragon Within, not wanting to become a creature that he doubts his human friends will respect. Of course, his efforts were in vain. The Dragon Inside could not be denied-- it was a part of him, and it was beyond time for his body to reflect that.
The months of pent-up Draconic energy unleash without warning, and Caradec is helpless to do anything but watch...

I know that keeping ur draconic energy all pent up is bad, and embracing it is good, but uh... What happens if you try to make the TF happen ASAP for (most likely evil) reasons. Would you uh, explode or something?Β
Now if you are wondering why you would want to be a dragon/dragon-like-thing as soon as possible, let me say, that it is like 69 times easier to capture a kingdom with wings and fire breath.

I doubt Caradec would be very good at conquering a kingdom as a 3-foot high swamp dragon.Β I'll cover the problems with jumping into Draconity too eagerly in a later comic.Β With great power comes great responsibility.Β You gotta be ready for it...

That makes me feel all warm inside. Knowing that, I'm motivated to draw more to make your journey to find the Book of Dragon TF worth the search.
