Suddenly got an epiphany that so many colleges apply scalding, disingenuous "green" window dressing, yet every 6 months require students to purchase new editions to books that have no new information; only rearranged chapters and a different style font on the cover. Sad that those books are worth less than toilet paper.

Exactly. Especially these books are not needed to anyone. Cos they are lying in an abandoned library or are likely already thrown out.
