Greg has one of the longest fuses you can possibly ask for. Not one to get angered (only disappointed and mildly frustrated at times), he will tolerate almost anyone, and anything. As long as you're not directly hurting anyone around you, he'll have you around.
Open minded about the universe, his teachings and personal beliefs overlap many deities and individual religions present in the vast world of space travel. After all, who in this world and time could possibly believe there is only one right answer to the question of faith?

He has a generally neutral attitude on life and the universe. Bad things happen, yes.. But instead of crying over the impossibility of preventing them all, one can put their energy in attempting to leave the worlds a little better than they received them. History:

Born on a scorching dry desert planet with harsh living conditions, as a child Gregorio was one of many to be revered as 'gifts from above'. Childrens' survival was always due effort and chance, so instead of being allowed manual labor and helping around the town, they were given ample time for reading, maturing and other forms of non-dangerous education. During his early years, from when he learned the skill of reading, Greg was with his face in the literature of his tribe, learning about matters both in and out of their own planet.

As he matured, he took a particular interest in the matter of religion. Many stories and legends spanned across the galaxy, and the young cactus was quite taken with the idea of faith. As time went by he became a devout believer in Arceus and the other deities, believing that instead of simply one, two, or three- they were all working together to keep the worlds at balance. There was no belief, no folktale he believed to be fully untrue. The task was to figure out how it all worked in harmony.

Eventually came time for him to leave his home in his quest for both learning and teaching. After years of wandering and educating people on the matter of spirit and faith, Gregorio ended upon yet another planet filled with sand and winds. This one, however.. Was plagued with something much worse. A war had broken out amidst the inhabitants, tearing communities apart and making the planet a dangerous and tiring place to live in. Stationed at the local church, he helped give sanctuary and peace of mind to the civilians driven from their homes by the ongoing battles. That's where he met two very special children.
The small ones had indeed also been drawn to the church in escape of war. After having spent a while with the two, Gregorio found himself quite attached to the small beings residing in the church. But things were bound to take a new turn after enough time. Battles weren't ceasing and the planet was quickly being deemed too dangerous for civilian presence. Eventually, the local priest presented Gregorio with a request to take the little ones along on his travels, to bring them to safety. Agreeing on the plan, the traveling Father soon brought the small ones to a whole new world they hadn't seen before. Leading them across planets and continuing his work, eventually a yet new destination appeared on the way of the journey. Leaving the small ones in cares of a trusted church, he ventured forth to check the new planet to see if perhaps, this blooming colony of travellers would be a suitable place for the small ones to settle in.
