Sometimes, even the most simple sounding task can be impossible to overcome. Sometimes the roads won’t open, the clues won’t show themselves.

On times like that, one would easily think life is not worth living at all.

The Red one had been searching for the Mountain path for long enough to say that it had been forever. Many had passed it, left it behind, with capes ornate and beautiful, signaling they had already completed the Journey. It was sad. Its life had only one purpose, yet it couldn’t even fulfill that single mission.

Then it found the Other.

The Other was just as alone as it was. Although while the Red one was small, fragile and delicate, the Other was nearly twice as tall, strong and looked like it had been on the desert much longer than the Red one could ever imagine. It even had arms resting on its knees when it sat next to the crumbled wall, signaling the smaller one to step inside. Upon doing so, the Red one shyly let out a note, then another. The Other replied, with a voice much lower, but just as unsure and shy.

Days passed by, and the two spent their days walking on the desert, singing their songs to each other. The Other knew where the Mountain was. Longinly it had gazed onto the sunset, always knowing it could not reach the sacred place. Because upon the priviledge of gaining a pair of arms and growing strong, it had lost the ability required to complete the Journey. The ability to fly.

That’s when the Red one had an idea. Notes began to flow from the excited little creature as it fluttered around the Other, making it spin around confused. But the Other already knew what was on the Red one’s mind.

Together, they could complete the Journey.

YEAH PEOPLE I DO DRAW OTHER THINGS THAN POKEMON ;;;;xD

Now that I was freed from the oct comic for a while, I decided to draw Journey art! I've been doodling these two onto my notebooks for as long as I first played Journey at my friend's place, and they've developed a little story of their own. So I decided to give them a proper illustration :'D Excpect to see more of these guys every now and then. They have no names, at least not yet >u>
