This was a commission by of her skull-fox character!Cute little silver fox o' death!
She will be carrying him around at DragonCon 2013, so keep an eye out for her and give a shoutout!

The soft mounting can be difficult, but with a brand new tanned skin, it's usually a breeze!

Probably.... but who knows! FeatheredCritter actually has published works of her coyote mask that fits this fox and the two have dated back story. So if anyone did rip it off, she has all the dated proof.

It's a coyote. The fox skull looked misproportioned (due to lack of fur), so we went with a yote to match the size of a fox head

Not NEARLY big enough for a wolf skull; kinda hard to tell with the paint, but I'd say coyote or, more likely given the character, fox.

I dunno, I've seen some GIANT fox sculls that were on par with average sized coyote skulls. Fur farms are breeding bigger foxes for bigger pelts. Bigger sculls too!

Β Larger skulls definitely look more proportionate. When someone asks me for rabbit skulls for skull bunnies I like to send two, the matching rabbit'sΒ and a larger animal's. I'm pretty sure people will always use the larger one.

Skull painting is FUN though. You should try it. Very relaxing.
