Necklace commissioned by ShilazeThis beauty centers a single wolf claw, guarded by the talons of a great horned owl (replica claws for legality).
Bison horn, moonstone, and amethyst were used along the sequence.

They have evil looking claws! And even though the replcas don't show it, owl toes are covered in fuzzy feathers, and it gets poofier as you go up the legs, which makes their legs look like their wearing pantaloons! xD

Actualy birds of prey are protected not ony because of the endangermet and all that bs, but also because of the Native Americans. That is why Eagle tallons and feathers are a BIIIIGGGG no no. My grandma ... who still has the papers to prove my Cherokee blood, has fans of eagle feathers, and strings of tallons. Its her medacine spirit.

Yeah, those claws are replica casts off of a real talon.... detail doesn't show up in the picture but it's pretty realistic looking!
