Description
This is the first anime fan art I ever did, along with a group picture at the same time. I actually had little idea of her story at the time, as the manga and anime were not readily available in the US at that point (except via piracy and fansubs - it was the early 90's), I just liked her color and design that I got from the cards sold at the little anime rental store (ALL pirated fansubs and real posters/etc - it was AWESOME) in the area I was in and a few online images. The originals of this and the group picture were sold at at the first Katsucon.
