have you considered coloring this? it would be quite simple but i think it would be more effective if you gave some of your work a touch of color.
a low saturation color. something subtle and not too flashy. maybe a blue and orange complementary color harmony?

if i wanna paint a color work at the very beginning ，that would be a totally different way to thinking about the creation，and i wouldn't do such more shadow line.so when it finished as a ink work,it's no advisable to be painting color again,i know comic book covers do that way ,but still don't wanna paint it
