Description So if you don't follow `DanLuVisiArt , shame on you. If you do, you'll know who this character is. I first saw Gabriel when I was 18 years old. This image here [link] . I knew Dan was onto something the minute I saw this guy. Not long after I drew some fanart myself. And had the chance to meet Dan there so I gave it to him. A couple years after, the book came out. I preordered it. Next thing you know, he has a movie deal with Paramount. Inspiring. This guy knows what art is about. Making a living off of your OWN creations. Not letting anyone tell you how to run your story. *Ricky-Martinez and I we're heavily inspired by Dan in the creation of Badassery Studios as well as a project we're working on together. I haven't drawn Gabriel since I was 18, I'm 22 now. So here he is again. My tribute to Dan Luvisi.

You've done a really fitting tribute to Dan's work! The guy is definitely brilliant, and it looks as if you're on a fast track in his footsteps! Nicely done!

Excellent job! Your texture work is very fine. I need to try my hand at higher res pieces. Is there a particular resolution you work with?

Thanks! I work up in the 3,000 to 5,000 pixels range. I've found that that is a comfortable resolution to really crank in all the details if I need/want to. I also do that because you never know how big you'll want to print something. For quicker speedpaintings and sketches that aren't too detail oriented I stay around 1,000 pixels wide range. When you're getting up to 5,000 you definitely gotta have a computer that can handle it.
