Description Might look like fire nation during the reign of his daughter Zuko. I'm hoping for the appearance of fire nation in TLOK, but my hope slowly disappears. And yes, the two huge statues of Azula and Zuko. I do not care about the fate of the real Azula, I personally want to have it there was a good fortune, and it was one of the most important persons in the State.

I wish that was canon. Azula and Zuko working together in the end for a better Fire Nation.

Awesome work. There's a lot of shadows, but the small detailing and colouring, are top notch.

WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning! Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died. Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a Monday night at 12:00 a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other pictures on this one site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently, if you copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes you will have the best day of your life tomorrow. You will either get kissed or asked out, if you break this chain u will see a little dead girl in you

Maybe after the trilogies, Azula did start seeing things in better light like Aang believed. Maybe not as good as Zuko and the others, but enough for her to be considered an ally when they really needed her. I like thinking she at least tried to move on and Zuko helped her find her own way the way Iron helped him find his. I think it would be possible, and wonderful, for Azula to receive a statue right there next to her brother because people CAN change no matter who they were or what they did (coughzukocough).

Yeah, I always liked her and was sorry. She is a genius, but I'm afraid Azula could not be kinder, but could be better adapted to life in the community. I think it was respected as a politician, but a relationship with Zuko is unlikely to have improved, they have a strong dislike. I think Zuko put the statue not because of a great love for her sister, but because of the fact that Azula forced him to do it.

I believe Zuko would have still kept her in his life despite the hardships and betrayals. I hate following Aang's frequent face palming optimism, but if someone like Zuko could change from start to finish, I think Azula can too. Given she actually accepted the help she still desperately needs. Azula does sound like the kind of person who would force a statue of herself up though. So I guess it's all a possibility.

You don't put up large statues commemorating evil. You don't dedicate all that time and money to someone like that. I would assume they would have a whole section in their libraries or museums about her, though. Still, I like this idea

Same!!! Was hoping to see the Fire Nation this season along with a lil reunion with the old gaang (I don't believe one second that the remaining three wouldn't try to meet up!), but alas....Love your depiction of present-day Fire Nation btw

Even if Azula did bad things... Her having her own statue needs to be a thing!

Agreed.Β  Just because you prefer to glorify the good doesn't mean you should ever forget the bad in your history.

Azula was still young, so she could have had the chance to turn her life around and be forgiven by the time she had grown into a young woman. There's no doubt that Zuko still loved her and would have wanted to give her a second chance. At her age, she was a great leader and strategist. Even if she was on the 'wrong' side... I'm sure that if the two worked things out, he would still want to honor () his little sister in anyway that he could. She would make a good adviser.

I really want to see the present day Fire Nation, too! I'm not counting the Fire Sage island or Ming Hua's prison because those were too brief. In any case, I think you have really captured the essence of the Fire Nation's capital in this drawing.

So was the long awaited appearance of the Fire Lord, Zuko's daughter.Β  Not one word of dialogue.Β  Weak.

True, but at least we saw her. It's only three episodes in so there's still plenty of them for her to make at least a dialogue and a name.

It -is- important to remember your past, and Azula was instrumental to some ofΒ the Fire Nation's greatest victories.Β  I could definitely enjoy seeing this in the real show.Β  Plus, Zuko loves his sister, and in the end (The Search end, that is) she seemed on the road to becoming a better person.Β  That's beautifully symbolized here.
