A little something from my sketchbook following the Cute Kiss Meme formula: A kiss on the forehead, a kiss on the nose, a kiss on the ear, and a kiss on the lips.Each of these is kind of a little story in themselves.

Oh thank god finally someone who actually draws gabriel probably!!! I love all the fanart but i'm yet to find stuff that looks like gab, they all look like someone else, some of them actually look like sam which is trippy XD This is adorable btw!!!

Well, I'm not the ONLY one who draws Gabriel "properly". And I'd like to think I have a lot of room for improvement!
Although I do agree that a lot of fanart can be confusing. Especially if Sam also has his hair brushed back. Then Gabe just looks like a mini-Sasquatch next to him. It doesn't help that they have nearly the same hair in later episodes, and the same taste in wonderfully awful shirts. (I'm looking at you inside-out-pink-damask-Sam and pink-paisley-stripes-Mystery-Spot-Gabriel.) Also, sideburns. It makes sense, because Sam is supposed to be Lucifer's body, right? So their vessels are...brothers in a sort of way, even if it's more likely that Gabriel's vessel is the Winchester's great^24 uncle (...probably through the Campbells).
Things I keep in mind for showing the difference (aside from size): Sam's hair is always fluffier, even when Gabe's is shorter with a bit of bang (as in Tall Tales) or Sam's is slicked back for his respectable lawyer/FBI/insurance-guy look; relatedly, Gabe's forehead is almost always out there; Gabe's profile is kind of sweetly curved just on the other side of flat, because he doesn't have Sam's heavy brow or sharp nose; Gabe does have a jutting/rounded chin making his face a bit heart-shaped within the overall oval, while Sam's face would be rectangular except for his epic cheekbones, which give him a jawline somewhat like an inverted triangle; most importantly Gabriel is a bit on the well-fed side, so not only is he not cut, he does not have much of a jawline, so unless he has a beard, is shown head-on or in odd perspective, or there's some deep shadow/dramatic lighting, the curve of his jaw should be drawn softly or barely there.
The last thing are some tiny details that I should probably feel like a creeper for noticing...but along with all the other expression lines on his highly animated face, Richard's nose is somewhat bifurcated. There's this little dent on the tip of his nose. His philtrum is even deeper than Misha's (Gabriel also has Cas' downward slanting eyes and a similar hairline). He doesn't have the others' cleft chin though.
