Hi Ziaul, I haven't been around here much for a while. All your photos from Bangladesh are great. And this one in particular - it's stunning graphically as well as for the human story and emotion. Bravo.

i have so much scenes in life with such scene in Bosnia, it's so usual unfortunately, but ok.. ,, and every time see this i want to shoot it, but i don't have heart for it to click at child begging face.. i don't give money, only food if i have.. once i gave food and they rejected it, but of course, their parents are fault because they teach them (well, i don't want to generalize) how to beg only for money.
anyway, you capture this moment completely greatly.

Thank you so much Kirke for your comment. I usually don't take this kind of photo as well. But I could not resist myself as soon as I saw her on the car window. The light reflection on her face and the way she look made me take this shot.

This is a very powerful and sad portrait. Her face really expresses her poverty and helplessness.Β
I disagree with the last comment. I don't think she poses a threat to anyone.
I've been in some very poor places and I am familiar with the look of desperation in her eyes. Β Β
Where is this?

Indeed I agree with you. There is always generalization or stereotyping about poor people. It's in my country, Bangladesh where I visited after a long time.

She's probably holding a dirty razorblade or syringe in her other hand and was instructed to steal from tourists. I ain't gonna open that window even though i would like to help you.
