Speedpaint here! Still frames can be found hereBeen wanting to do fanart for 's Handplates in a while, since it’s one of my favorite Undertale AUs. Rereading basically everything except the main comic reminded me how much I love this Gaster, so I decided now was the time and I was going to sit down and do something.
Pretty happy with how this came out! Though that darn lost soul effect took ages to get to a point I was happy with XD

The glitch effect was actually pretty simple! I took a flat version of the image, made a few selection boxes, and drug them a few pixels away from where they were supposed to be. Then I'd grab a few more selection boxes and do the same, but in a different direction. Repeat that a few times and you'll have a pretty messed up frame.
Then, I copied that frame, and repeated the process so it was even more glitchy, but you would sort of see it as a progression. Repeat that for like 4 or 5 frames, add in a couple of frames with normal faces in there, and play with the timing until it feels about right... And this is what I ended up with ^^

Heh, it's interesting to me that yours is more what is *your* choice, how will you approach Gaster... but mine is about Gaster's choice, and the possible outcomes as a result. Similar images, but both very unique in their own ways ^^

(Ooh, that could've been fun. Though honestly, I'm not sure it would have fit. My thought process for this was that it's glitching back and forth between his possible choices here, and if he chooses mercy, he obviously wont have the lost soul head. But he already made the choices that put holes in his hands, he can't take those back)
