the amazing Antony Hegarty, front figure of Antony and the Johnsons. I think I'm currently in love with him(/her). I'm not quite sure it's finished, I might add some more black later on..watercolors, A5

Um I sketched the acorn photo?You know with the robe Nick in 1967 I think(cover Way To Blue-An intro to Drake)?And that didnt work for me because I used oil crayon and his robe has so much fine detail

yeah I've tried to draw that photo too haha. actually I found an old sketch of it just a couple of days ago, and tried to finish it in watercolors, which was a very dumb choice, so of course I screwed it up. but yeah I like it.

Oh no haha...The problem for me (aside from being a bad artist) is the photo is blurred from the sun it has a grainy feel but its beautiful all the same.I wonder how it would look if you did it in an overcast of one color like yellow...and then used red as a highlight...me and my crazy ideas....

I think it looks great as it is, but a bit more black might make it even more dramatic! As always, your work makes mine look like crap. I'm always impressed and inspired by what you do!
