Description Last year I caught the Steam & Jazz train pass by Downshire, this year it's basically the exact same setup in a different location. Even 186 is back running tender-first.

Railway Preservation Society of Ireland runs the annual Steam & Jazz outings, where a steam train takes people from Whitehead, Carrickfergus and Belfast Central to at least one secret destination, then the Apex Jazz Band gets out and performs at that station.

I'll be riding on this train for the final Steam & Jazz run on July 2nd.

That would be 462, a generator van that provides the train with heating and electricity.

Do they not have steam pipes? They look like steam era MK1s... ah well. Interesting van,looks american, but thats probably down to the straight bodysides and the bulky look of it...
