Not really much to say here. I was asked to draw Keswick after I drew Snaptrap and I decided to get right on it. I thought about maybe redesigning him but I think his nerd look is fine just the way it was so I left him the way he was. After drawing this I'm really considering continuing drawing and/or redesigning more Tuff Puppy characters.Related content

Something that seems very exaggerated about Keswick on the show, is to say that is a strange alien from another planet. In the show put things or strange scenes Β about their bizarre anatomy and nature or hear him say it comes from another planet.
Honestly, the first time I saw Keswick, thought it was a marmot, a mole or some other rodent most common, it seems silly that writers say it is a completely strange alien, having a so common and simple appearance.
I never understand that in cartoons, put totally bizarre freaks with the appearance of a totally normal animasl.

What about the cartoon called Kid vs. Kat? The alien cat looked like a hairless sphynx cat, a normal cat breed from Earth.

I never thought about him being an alien but yeah, his anatomy and biological features were incredibly weird with how they were jumbled together.
The first time I saw Keswick, I just assumed he was some small breed of dog or maybe a kangaroo.
Yeah I don't get it either, I guess they were going somewhere with that idea but bailed on it and just left it up to the fans on what Keswick was.

That's what Dudley said in the episode where Keswick builds a super smart toaster, and when emerged the first weirdΒ biological features and the questions ofΒ whatΒ thing is Keswick.
I say that to me seemed a rodent because of their "Timmy turner styled" teeth.

This is late again, but there is a video on youths where the creator of T.U.F.F. puppy even reveals that he has no idea what Keswick is! xD When he first designed him, he didn't know what animal to make him. He just created a creature that looked a little like a dog and a little like a rodent.

I always thought he was a dog because of the large sensitive nose, large tongue, and craze for certain foods (i.e. fish sticks, mini quiches, fish) He can be a total 'dog' when it comes to food and girls.

Well they won't be looking as elderly as they originally looked and since their son is a genius, they should look like geniuses as well. So I'll make them look like two of my favorite animated geniuses of all time, Futurama's Professor Farnsworth and Grim and Evil's Major Dr. Ghastly.

He's just finished that invention that he's been working on for years and he's forgot what it does although he knows it really cool. Maybe it could summon a giant robot , or turn stuff into gold, or teleport you anywhere in the world.

I think I'll go with Option #3. How convenient would THAT be? Now, I won't have to wait for hours on a plane to go to Orlando. I can go to Disney and Universal anytime I want and return home in the blink of an eye.

Yeah I can imagine a lot of visual gags used with this, anytime he appears after using his invention, he'll be wearing clothes and holding stuff from where he's been, like if he's been to England he'd show up with a tall guard hat and cup of tea and if goes to Mexico he'll come back with a sombrero

Yeah, and when I go to Disney, I might come back with a Mickey Mouse hat, a photo of me on Splash Mountain, and a Pirates of the Caribbean T-shirt, and return from Universal with a Despicable Me minion plushie, and a poster of "Back to the Future."
