My reimagining of Zomba from The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo.

In her new story, Ezrago lived 1000 years ago in a small village in Norway. One night, warriors from a neighboring land came in and killed all the villagers and stole what they could. Ezrago survived by being away from the village for a midnight walk. When she returned , she saw everyone dead and everything burned. The only one left alive, but still on the verge of death was the village's wiseman. She told Ezrago what had occurred and begged her to take the only thing left of their people, a tome of their knowledge. Ezrago went through the tome and found something that could return what she had lost. The Mark of the Draugr. The wiseman begged her not to go through with this, but Ezrago looked at him with cold eyes and stepped on his neck, finally ending his life. Nothing would stop her from bringing everyone back. For days, Ezrago tattooed herself with the markings required for the ritual. When she was finished, she spilled her blood meant for the sacrifice and suddenly, all the corpses started to rise. Ezrago regained all that she lost, but in the process, she lost her sanity and ability to care about anything other than herself and her "family". Ezrago went across the land and killed many others to help grow her family. What finally stood in her way was a group of Viking warriors and the witch who aided them. With the aid of fire, the Draugr were killed and Ezrago perished with them, but that was not the end of her. Ezrago's spirit continued on as Zomba and would of haunted the land if not for the witch containing her spirit and trapping it in the Chest of Demons. Ezrago Zomba would be stuck in the Chest of Demons for 1500 years until the Chest was opened by some meddling kids and their dog.
