A reason why his creator might be cruel to him is that a previous creation went the route of the book’s ver. of the Monster and tormented the doctor, leaving him bitter and enraged, but no matter what, he would finish his research, even if he himself becomes a monster.

Well there has been some story developments between when I made this and now. After his first creation, PinOak EO, Dr. Enstein needed something more for his second creation, Tor. PinOak lacked a conscience to tell him right from wrong, he lacked what all living things have, a soul. One cannot make a soul, but one can be transfigured with the help of Alchemy. Using that method, he extracted his soul, reworked it, and placed it into Tor. The lack of a soul would turn Dr. Enstein into a cruel, unfeeling person.

While Dr. Enstein had good intentions by giving his soul to Tor, what he leaves behind a shell of a man who now has no morals or conscience to stop himself from doing terrible things and by removing his soul, he’s left his body to be influenced or possessed by far more... terrible beings that are more dark and dangerous than anything on this Earth.

Exactly. When people in real life do cruel things they're called soulless, so here, the soul is what steers us in the right direction and tells each of us, right from wrong. Lacking a soul, Dr. Enstein does his experiments without the restraints of morality, which leads to incredibly cruel experimentation.

And there is another problem with giving up your soul. You leave behind an empty shell, which is like putting a sign up that says:”Fresh human body for possession!” Dr. Enstein is now vulnerable to more darker, more demented, more... hellish entities that prowl this world you’ve created. The worst entity that could take over Enstein is... HIM.

Well I think for this one instance. Victor tried to have a back up plan knowing that his lack of a soul would make him little more than a meat puppet. He tried to have a backup plan for continuing without a soul. He tried to make a digital soul for his body to continue on with. But a cold, calculating false soul like that is susceptible to outside forces since it has no morality to think on its own with. I want some manipulation here, but not hellish entities controlling Stein, it's more heartbreaking that it's a creator without a soul doing terrible things to Tor rather than something controlling him entirely.
I much got the idea of Dr. Enstein, PinOak, and Tor this from the movie, 9. Most notably this scene (0:18-2:25) youtu.be/S-WLR8F0B50?t=18s . Enstein tried to create a living machine with PinOak, but it was driven by intelligence alone and didn't have restraint that a living being did. After PinOak killed Enstein's friends, he couldn't accept their deaths and thought that new life can spring from old life and that's when he decided to build Tor with their body parts. But with no soul, Tor would end up like PinOak. After discovering a book of Alchemy, Enstein discovered Soul Transference. Souls cannot be made but they can be remolded into new ones. Enstein even fiigured out how to make a digital soul, but the ones he made were rejected by Tor's body. So he made a plan, mold his soul for Tor and make another a digital one for him, but like all good ideas, things didn't go according to plan. Tor came alive, but Enstein became an uncaring mad scientist, willing to things his former self would never try.

Oh I see. The Monstrosities are a Justice League kind of group composed of characters based on classic movie monsters. That's awesome. I actually had a similar idea to this a while back. I can see some of the more cheesy movie monsters being D-List enemies for them like Ro-Man, It That Conquered the World and the Metaluna Mutant.
Are fantasy novels like Alice in Wonderland and Wizard of Oz part of the Monstrosities canon? Are Wonderland and Oz continents that are part of the world or alternate dimensions connected to it?

Yes, but more than just classic movie monsters, there's some from classic literature, scifi movies, and fairytales. Oooh, Ro-Man and The Metaluna Mutant would be cool enemies to reimagine for this.
Yes, those two are different dimensions in the Monstrosities universe. In fact, I did a reimagining of Oz called Tales from The Odd Zone that is a different story but takes place in the Monstrosites Universe, here's some drawings I did for it
Tin Man
Odd Zone Trio
Oz Extras
Clue the Scarecrow
